Johnson, the world’s No. 1-ranked golfer, is now Bovada’s third betting choice at +750 (bet $100 to win $750). Jordan Spieth is now favored to win the green jacket at odds of +650, followed by Rory McIlroy at +700.

Johnson’s manager, David Winkle, told reporters Johnson hurt his back Wednesday when he took a spill down some stairs at his rental home in Augusta, Ga. Johnson quickly began icing the injury and taking anti-inflammatory medication. Winkle said there was “hope” Johnson would play Round 1 of the tournament Thursday.
