Even though every other update unlocks a new part of Teyvat, players still stumble upon various glitches in the older parts of the world. A new post on the Genshin Impact subreddit shows an interesting bug that features one of the most popular places in the Mondstadt region.

Reddit user fizarr shared an interesting picture of Katheryne without her booth. Katheryne is the popular receptionist of Genshin Impact’s Adventurer’s Guild, and she can be found at the guild’s headquarters located in the center of each major region. Her job is to assign quests to guild members and give information about the area. Fans claim that they’ve never seen Katheryne leave her booth, which makes the glitch even more special. Multiple replies in the comment section jokingly claim that Katheryne is unable to place her furniture as the Serenitea Pot feature in Genshin Impact is still under maintenance. Others request that the player check for a sign behind her neck to see if it’s the real Katheryne, which is a reference to one of the events in which Albedo had an identical impostor with only one difference to the original, a star-shaped sign on the neck.
Talking to Katheryne has many benefits and allows players to claim additional rewards for Genshin Impact Daily Commissions, dispatch characters on expeditions, and claim Adventure Rank rewards. Some fans state that the Katheryne shown in the picture refuses to work with the player because she can’t recognize the player character Keqing, who has become one of the least popular five-star characters in Genshin Impact.
So far, there are three Adventure Guild receptionists and there is a chance that a fourth one could arrive sooner than expected. Multiple Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that another major Genshin Impact region named Sumeru is just around the corner. The game’s story describes Sumeru as a mysterious region filled with forests and deserts. One of the special things about the new nation is that it is home to the Dendro Archon, which means that the game may finally add characters that use the Dendro element. This will be the first time that the game adds a brand-new element to the playable roster.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
