Harper, born and raised in Las Vegas and noted Runnin’ Rebels fan, decided to take a photo with the Blue Devils following their blowout win in Sin City.

You may remember back in February 2015, Harper donned a limited-edition jacket that honored the 1990-91 national championship-winning UNLV squad and the late Jerry Tarkanian. The jacket was one of only three made.

There’s certainly nothing wrong with taking a photo with Blue Devils players, but to take a picture after a 94-45 drubbing of your hometown squad? Seems a little soft. Some would even say that’s a clown move, bro.

Now, calling Bryce Harper the professional athlete equivalent of Drake would be a bit premature, but the path of front-runner fandom is certainly a slippery slope.
